Your HLTFA301C Apply first aid course:
- includes the unit HLTCPR201A Perform CPR which is recommended by the Australlian Resuscitation Council to be refreshed annually, so a complimentary reminder will be sent to you via email

- is the updated version of the previous First Aid course (approved by WorkCover NSW) or Senior First Aid (generic title)

- proof of identification (driver's licence, Medicare or TAFE card, etc.) is provided at the commencement of the course
- any theory component pre-requisite (eg. first aid workbook) has been fully completed prior to the date of the course and provided to the trainer upon arrival at the course, ready to be marked.

Courses held at Baulkham Hills Sports Club and Bankstown Business Advisory Service are considered "public" courses and may include staff from other industries.

This accredited course is very popular with fitness trainers, childcarers and electricians.

Your HLTCPR201A Perform CPR course:

- trains you to perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
- includes a statement of attainment issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and will be posted directly to you after successful course completion

- is recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council to be refreshed (both knowledge and skills) annually, and includes a complimentary expiry reminder via email

This affordable, accredited course fully equips OH&S committee members and OH&S representatives with the knowledge and skills required to effectively apply OH&S consultation strategies in their workplace, in compliance with NSW OH&S legislation.
Your trainer is licensed to a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which has this course listed on its scope of registration.
"RTOs are reminded that it is a WorkCover NSW regulatory requirement that the Course in OHS Consultation must be delivered over a period of 4 days (6 hours per day). The OHS Consultation training course should be no more than six hours of training each day and there should be no more than 20 participants at each training course". The Accredited WorkCover NSW OHS Consultation Course (Administration) states that:
'The nominal delivery time allocated for the presentation of this course is 24 hours. Trainers must not shorten the timing of the course. However, trainers should be aware of the participative nature of the course and may need to allocate additional time accordingly.'" - WorkCover NSW, September 2010

Statement of Attainment
Successful completion of an accredited course provides you with the relevant Statement of Attainment (and a complimentary copy which is certified by the owner of First Aid Tailor Made, who is also a Justice of the Peace), usually within seven days.
A complimentary reminder is also issued just prior to qualification expiry.
Participants in a non-accredited course (or those who do not successfully complete all assessments) receive a Statement of Attendance from First Aid Tailor Made following course completion.

Qualification
Your qualification entitles you to be the First Aid Officer at work, sport, etc. (but does not permit you to have sole charge of a First Aid Room). You may also be entitled to a First Aid allowance.
The following references to legislation are being updated, in line with the new Work Health and Safety legislation.

Site reports and photos of available venues are provided on request. First Aid Tailor Made is fully insured.
