Your enrolment fee includes the following resources:

This affordable, accredited course fully equips OH&S committee members and OH&S representatives with the knowledge and skills required to effectively apply OH&S consultation strategies in their workplace, in compliance with NSW OH&S legislation.

Your trainer is licensed to a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which has this course listed on its scope of registration.

"RTOs are reminded that it is a WorkCover NSW regulatory requirement that the Course in OHS Consultation must be delivered over a period of 4 days (6 hours per day). The OHS Consultation training course should be no more than six hours of training each day and there should be no more than 20 participants at each training course". The Accredited WorkCover NSW OHS Consultation Course (Administration) states that:
'The nominal delivery time allocated for the presentation of this course is 24 hours. Trainers must not shorten the timing of the course. However, trainers should be aware of the participative nature of the course and may need to allocate additional time accordingly.'"

First Aid Tailor Made provides customised training to -

Successful completion of an accredited course provides you with the relevant Statement of Attainment (and a complimentary copy which is certified by the owner of First Aid Tailor Made, who is also a Justice of the Peace), usually within seven days.

A complimentary reminder is also issued just prior to qualification expiry.

Participants in a non-accredited course (or those who do not successfully complete all assessments) receive a Statement of Attendance from First Aid Tailor Made following course completion.

Qualification

Your qualification entitles you to be the First Aid Officer at work, sport, etc. (but does not permit you to have sole charge of a First Aid Room). You may also be entitled to a First Aid allowance.

The following references to legislation are being updated, in line with the new Work Health and Safety legislation.

Allowance "An employee who has been trained to render first aid, is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate... and is appointed by an employer to perform first aid duty must be paid a weekly allowance of 1.5% of the standard rate." (Section 19.6 of the Clerks Private Sector Award 2010)
For this example, the annual allowance may be a minimum of approximately $470 (other awards may differ).

Training can be conducted at Baulkham Hills Sports Club, Bankstown Business Advisory Service, in the Conference Room at your workplace or at various other venues.*
Site reports and photos of available venues are provided on request. First Aid Tailor Made is fully insured.
