Cancellation Policy
The following are deemed to be the current conditions of this Cancellation Policy:
MINIMUM NUMBERS REQUIRED
Courses run subject to minimum and maximum numbers of pre-paid enrolments.
APPROPRIATE VENUE
* On-site training availability is subject to conditions, such as appropriate training environment and facilities
(as determined by First Aid Tailor Made). A Training Site Suitability Report is required to be completed and provided to First Aid Tailor Made for consideration, prior to the delivery of any accredited training.
TYPES OF TRAINING
"Public" courses are scheduled by First Aid Tailor Made and include workers from various industries. Public courses require a minimum of four (4) paid enrolments.
"Corporate" courses are organised exclusively for your group (workplace, sport, club, hobby, etc.). Corporate training requires a minimum of four (4) paid enrolments. Training may be available to be held in your conference room or at another local venue which is convenient for you and suitable for training. Suitability of all venues is determined by First Aid Tailor Made.
Either way, your HLTFA301B Apply first aid course will be customised to your industry/workplace, etc.
NO REFUNDS
Please choose your course date carefully. Payment secures your enrolment in one specific class that has been allocated for one specific day. You are paying to have a place held just for you in this specific class. For accredited courses, your place is non-transferable and your payment is non-refundable. For non-accredited awareness workshops, your place is transferable but your payment is non-refundable. If at any time you cancel your enrolment, there are NO refunds given once your payment has been received by First Aid Tailor Made.
No refund is available if you are unable (for ANY reason) to attend the course in which you have enrolled. In that event, any such monies paid to First Aid Tailor Made will be forfeited to First Aid Tailor Made. You will not receive a refund. You are welcome to enrol in a course which has been advertised to be held in the future, however the amount of the enrolment fee (which is advertised as the current fee for that future course) will be required to be paid in full, and in advance, in order to attend. All fees are subject to price rise. This means that the amount payable to enrol in a future course may be an increase on the amount that you paid to enrol in a previous course.
PAYMENT
If your funds have not cleared (including dishonoured cheques) by the payment deadline date, you will not be admitted to the course and any enrolment fees paid will be permanently forfeited to First Aid Tailor Made. You will not receive a refund.
If your cheque is dishonoured, you will be required to reimburse First Aid Tailor Made AUD40.00 to cover administrative and other costs. Any subsequent enrolment payment will not include payment by cheque and must be cleared prior to the commencement of the course (as stipulated on the Payment page). Otherwise, you will not be admitted to the course and any enrolment fees paid will be forfeited to First Aid Tailor Made. You will not receive a refund.
PRE-REQUISITES FOR ACCREDITED COURSES
Participants in accredited courses must be aged 14 years of over. Photo identification is required to be produced to the trainer upon arrival at the course.
If you do not provide your fully completed workbook to your trainer, ready for marking at the commencement of your course, you will not be admitted to the course and any enrolment fees paid will be forfeited to First Aid Tailor Made. If you do not sincerely believe that you will be able to fully complete your workbook, please do not pay your enrolment fee.
ELIGIBILITY TO ATTEND
A person will not be admitted to a course (or the premises of the course venue) unless the following has been fulfilled –
- the enrolment fee has been paid in full and in advance, to First Aid Tailor Made
- said amount has been paid via a payment method accepted (and listed on the Payment page of this website) by First Aid Tailor Made
- said amount has been received in full by First Aid Tailor Made and funds have cleared prior to the payment deadline date of the course (as determined by First Aid Tailor Made on the Payment page of this website)
- proof of identification (eg. driver's licence, Medicare card, TAFE card, or similar) is produced to First Aid Tailor Made at the commencement of the course (required for accredited training only)
- any theory component pre-requisite (eg. first aid workbook) has been fully completed prior to the date of the course and provided to First Aid Tailor Made for marking by the trainer at the commencement of the course.
An emergency on your part does not justify an emergency on mine. Remaining course participants who have paid their enrolment fee will receive training as planned.
CIRCUMSTANCES FOR REFUND OR CREDIT
If one or more of only the following three (3) situations occurs, you will be notified and offered a choice of either a full refund or a credit towards another First Aid Tailor Made course [conducted within six (6) months of your chosen course date] -
- a course fails to reach its minimum enrolment limit (as determined by First Aid Tailor Made)
- a course has already reached its maximum enrolment limit (as determined by First Aid Tailor Made) at the time of your payment
- a course is postponed or cancelled by First Aid Tailor Made.
With reference to the abovementioned three situations only, your enrolment fee will not be subject to any price rise that may occur during that time.
There are no other circumstances which permit a refund.
AGREEMENT TO ABIDE BY ALL CONDITIONS
After carefully reading this Cancellation Policy, you agree to abide by all the conditions herein, including all relevant government requirements. Payment of the enrolment fee constitutes understanding and acceptance of this Cancellation Policy. You further understand that all First Aid Tailor Made policies are non-negotiable. Please do not ask for a refund, as refusal often offends.
